Stick this photocopy in your picture dictionary and colour it.

Tuesday, August 24th

The colours witch

Have fun listening to this lovely story. Then cut the pictures and sequence the story. Don-t forget to colour it so it looks nicer. Stick it in your orange copybook.

Phonics Revision "b" vs "d" 

First, trace the two sounds and then colour only the "b" sound in the grid. 

Can you think about 3 words starting with the "b" sound and 3 words starting with the "d" sound? Write them down. 

Finally, complete the missing "d" and "b" sound by labelling each picture. 

How many words had the "b" and "d" sound? count them and answer the questions. 

Stick the photocopies in your orange copybook

Wednesday, August 25th

New phonics sound "Vv"

Trace the letters, and then cross out the picture which doesn't have the "v" sound. (violin, van, fish, volcano).

Cut out the pictures and stick them in the write category "containing the "v" sound or not.

Say hello to Winnie, the Witch and her cat, Wilbur. We will soon read her book. Look at what she is wearing. Use your picture dictionary to describe her.

Take a look at the following photocopy and it's poster: there're 2 sentences written as an example. Then, you will have to put in order the following 2 sentences. Finally, you have to fill in the blanks of the following two sentences.

If you are willing to, you can write your own sentences using your picture dictionary and 'THE _____ IS _____" structure.

Example: The cat is brown. The tree is green. The sun is yellow.
